$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)
Position : Employment Coordinator ( Human Services) Full-Time
Location : Medford , MA
Rate of Pay : $19.55 per hour; Plus $40 bi-weekly stipend for second language
Hours : 40 Hours per week
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm Flexible Hybrid Schedule Options
Summary :
- Be part of a creative supportive team to help people with disabilities secure and sustain community based employment
- Participate in a progressive team approach working closely with State funding sources to include MassAbility and the Department of Developmental Services.
- Provide individualized supports to assist people with employment skills to include; resume writing, interview skills, travel training and job etiquette.
- Responsibilities include vocational guidance, job development, job placement, job coaching and customer relations with employer.
- Candidates with experience in human services, job coaching, residential care, direct care, and career counseling experience are strongly encouraged to apply;
and Bi- Lingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!"
Qualifications :
- High School / GED or Hi-SET plus 1-2 years related experience OR Associate’s degree plus 1 year related experience and / or training.
- One year of human service experience desired.
- Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.
Requirements :
- Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential.
- Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.
- Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
